Please install in "Custom" mode and choose to install only driver, without Profiles/MagicMatch option. For Win2k, should you experience any problems (Error 31), please download file pv8630.sys and replace the ones in the foldes "WinNTsystem32" and "WinNTsystem". For WinXP, manually exchange the standard scanner driver (WIA): open the Device Manager, double click on the scanner entry, in the Properties, tab "Driver", click "Update driver" and select "Software from a list...". Select "Do not search...", select the UMAX Driver: "USB Scanner". Ignore (!) the Warning that the driver has no WindowsXP Logo certificate and continue with the installation. Restart WinXP.
